FAQS

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • My parking area doesn’t have a roof. Can I still use Tuco solutions?
  • Yes, our solution is suitable for indoors and outdoors. You can also install Tuco on street parking spots.

  • What options do I have to procure Tuco’s solutions?
  • You can either purchase or rent from Tuco.
Speak to your sales representative or call us if you have specific needs or proposals.

  • Is there a minimum time for the Rental Service?
  • Yes, 24 months. After this period, you can choose to either buy the system or renew the rental on an annual basis.

  • If we moved to another location, would we lose the Tuco Solution investment?
  • No, the Sensor Devices can be detached from the pavement and reinstalled in your new location. The Communication Devices and LED Sign Displays can also be relocated.

  • Is it possible to add more Sensor Devices to a parking lot that already has some Sensor Devices, either from Tuco or from another company?
  • Yes, it is possible. Our interface is very friendly and scalable. We can read data from any Sensor Devices and integrate them to our network.

  • Are there any hidden costs? If I opted for a direct or financed purchase, would I have to pay any monthly fees?
  • Definitely NOT! Depending on the type of solution you select, you might need to buy Communication Devices, but no device comes with a monthly fee.
For the Management Software, you would need to buy the license of the package(s) you choose and you would pay an annual renewal fee that gives you access to constant updates and improvements.

  • Will I have to train my customers on how to interpret the devices signals?
  • You may want to place simple signage in the beginning to announce and explain the meaning of the sensor lights. However, Tuco is considered the most intuitive parking system with a color code similar to common traffic lights, e.g. green for “free or available”, red for “occupied or unavailable”, and blue for “free handicapped parking”.

Tuco systems have been developed to become the industry standard and they will gain rapid presence.

SENSOR DEVICE
  • How much weight can it hold?
